The full process for using OpenLMI:

• The OpenPegasus CIMOM is installed on the managed system and started.
• The desired set of OpenLMI Agents are installed on the managed system
• An OpenLMI client and set of scripts are installed on the Management System
• A system administrator then uses OpenLMI to perform the desired management tasks.

Note: all of this can be installed on a single system, thus allowing OpenLMI to manage a system locally.
